South Simcoe Police say a truck driver blew through a red light at Holland Street and Summerlyn Trail in Bradford West Gwillimbury, and that was just the beginning of his problems.

Police said they pulled over the truck, and during their investigation, located evidence of marijuana use inside the vehicle.

"The driver subsequently tested positive for cannabis," police said in a news release.

A 57-year-old Toronto man was charged with failing to stop at a red light and driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available.

His driver's licence was also suspended.
