Stolen pickup truck from Innisfil recovered in Toronto

Quite the journey for a pickup truck stolen early Monday from a residence on Larter Street in Innisfil.

The theft of the Dodge TRX drew in police services from South Simcoe, York Region, OPP and Toronto Police.

Authorities say the truck was driven at a high rate of speed through those jurisdictions.

The stolen vehicle was located in Toronto.

No arrests have been made.

South Simcoe Police is urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in and around Larter St during the early hours of April 22, 2024 to contact police or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
