Squall warnings remain in effect for the Barrie, Collingwood, and Midland areas this morning. Environment Canada says there's the potential for between 20 and 40 centimetres of snow in and around Barrie and Collingwood through tomorrow morning, 5-10 centimetres in the Midland area this morning. All of this, it says, should be over and done with by tomorrow afternoon

As for Muskoka, Highway 11 remains closed from West Street in Orillia to Highway 60 in Huntsville. All the obstructions in terms of vehicles have been cleared, now crews are getting rid of the snow that piled up. Ontario Provincial Police are urging the public to stay home in the impacted area and avoid travelling. Additional vehicles on the roads put occupants at risk and add additional challenges for snow removal.

The State of Emergency remains in play in Gravenhurst where up to 140 centimetres of snow fell through the weekend.

As a result of the ongoing clean-up in Muskoka, Trillium Lakelands schools there are closed today and school buses are not running. Buses have also been cancelled in Haliburton and Kawartha Lakes.

The Georgian College campus in Gravenhurst is closed today.

There is no garbage collection today in Muskoka.
