Horseshoe Resort recently announced exciting news for students, with the launch of its much-anticipated Student Weeks. Located in the heart of Ontario, Canada, the resort is offering exclusive pricing and events for university and college students to enjoy during reading week.
Come for the day or enjoy a getaway filled with fun activities, delicious food, and a cozy stay in one of their spacious suites.
The Student Weeks program is an excellent opportunity for students to take a break from their studies and enjoy some time on the slopes. The program will run on weekdays from February 21st to March 4th. During your visit, you can look forward to skiing and snowboarding on the resort's world-class slopes, which offer 28 ski runs, 304 feet of vertical rise, 6 lifts, and Ontario’s longest beginner carpet.
During Student Weeks, lift tickets will be just $55 and will provide access from 9 AM to 9 PM.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the Student Weeks program also includes access to a range of exciting activities.
Trivia Night
Thursdays (February 23 and March 2) from 7 PM to 9 PM students can enjoy trivia at Eleven 01 Stone Oven Pizza and a Patio After Party. Questions will cover a variety of topics and can be answered using Kahoot app. Points are awarded for correct answers and speed of answering.
Tubing tickets will be awarded to the team with the highest score at the end of the night. (Prizes are subject to change.)
Glow Tubing
Friday evenings (February 24 and March 3), come for some glow tubing with DJ Andrew Hutt starting at 6 PM. Glow sticks will be provided with the purchase of a snow tubing pass.
It’s recommended you book snow tubing passes in advance, however, passes are available at the kiosk if not sold out.
Drop-In Shinny
On February 27, students can come enjoy a casual game of hockey with drop-in shinny from 4 to 6 PM.
Moonlit Snowshoeing
On February 28, take a moonlit snowshoe through the beautiful natural surroundings of Horseshoe and Copeland Forest from 7 PM to 8 PM. Snowshoe rentals and headlamps are included with your trail pass. Once your adventure is complete, you can enjoy a hot beverage by the fire.
Even More To Do During Student Weeks
These are just some of the fun events planned at Horseshoe for this year’s Student Weeks. There will also be a games tournament for students on March 1 from 9 PM to 1 AM. And each week, be one of the first 250 students to show your student card to the Guest Services Team, and you’ll also receive a swag bag. Not to mention all of the other amazing activities and restaurants available all season long!
So what are you waiting for? Grab your friends (and student ID) and get out to Horseshoe for a relaxing time on the slopes!
