Motorists with a need for speed are now without wheels.

On Thursday, Orillia OPP say they pulled over a vehicle on Highway 11 northbound in Severn Township that was clocked travelling 142 km/h in a posted 90 zone.

A 22-year-old from Orillia was charged with stunt driving, speeding, driving while under suspension, entire plate not plainly visible, failing to have an insurance card, and failing to surrender a permit for the motor vehicle.

Their driver's licence was suspended for 30 days, and their vehicle was impounded for 14 days.

On Highway 400 southbound at King Road, provincial police say an officer stopped a vehicle going 206 km/h.
