A 20-year-old G2 driver from Hamilton has been charged after Ontario Provincial Police allege the motorist was stunt driving on Highway 400 southbound in Tay Township and stopped in a live lane.

Police say the driver's car was tagged at 155 km/h in a 100-zone on Monday.

"Besides speeding on an icy winter road, this driver was issued tickets for stunt driving, no insurance, and careless driving after stopping in a live lane," police said in a post on Facebook.

"Hope the trip to Parry Sound was worth it," police added.

The person's licence was suspended for 30 days, and the car was impounded for 14 days.
