Sum 41 is breaking up after 27 years together.

On Monday, the Canadian Punk band announced on the news, thanking fans for the last 27 years.

They plan to finish touring commitments throughout the summer, which include headlining shows in Europe and the U.S.

The silver lining is that they are leaving a gift for fans in the form of a new and final album, "Heaven x Hell."

"For now, we look forward to seeing all of you skumf&^s on the road and are excited for what the future will bring for each of us," they said.

Finishing with "Thank you for the last 27 years of Sum 41."

The Ajax, Ontario band hit the airwaves in 2001 with their debut album "All Killer No Filler."

Hit songs from there included "Fat Lip" and "In Too Deep," which was featured prominently on the "American Pie 2" soundtrack.

They released several albums through the years, with "Heaven x Hell." being their eighth
