The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) says completion of the Anne Street North bridge over Highway 400 has been tentatively extended until the end of July.

The project was supposed to have been completed by the end of 2022. The ministry says weather and other factors have caused a delay in getting the job done on time.

The bridge was demolished by the MTO in June 2021. As part of the project, there was also roadwork done on Highway 400 between St. Vincent Street and Dunlop Street.

Anne Street North between Edgehill Drive and Donald Street will remain closed for the duration of the bridge construction.
