Suspect arrested in connection with series of robberies on Highway 11 in Gravenhurst

Police say they have laid charges in connection with several break-and-enters and robberies that occurred in August and this month in Gravenhurst.

According to police, the robberies took place along Highway 11 north and south between Kilworthy Road and Highway 118 East.

A search warrant was executed at a Ure Road residence in Gravenhurst on Wednesday where authorities arrested and charged a 23 year old male resident.

The suspect has been charged with the following:

  • Break and Enter X 3
  • Robbery X 3
  • Theft Under $5000 X 2
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

He was held in custody for a bail hearing in Bracebridge on Thursday.
