Police arrested a man at a home in Alcona on Saturday in connection with a deadly shooting in the area of Toronto's Kensington Market on Aug. 21.
Investigators have alleged that during an altercation involving several men, a gun was fired, and one of the males was struck.
He was transported to hospital where he died.
On Saturday, police vehicles from Toronto were spotted at a home on Lawson Avenue in Alcona.
On Monday, investigators in a news release identified the victim as a 41-year-old from Toronto.
They added, that on Saturday, a 26-year-old Toronto man was arrested in the Innisfil-area and charged with first-degree murder.
Toronto police said the arrest was made with assistance from the OPP and South Simcoe Police.
