Suspect Wore Bright Shoes During Barrie Hold Up

Grove St. Variety Store Held Up At Gunpoint

Do these shoes look familiar to you?

Barrie Police say the person wearing them was behind the armed hold-up of a convenience store early Wednesday morning.

Around 2:30 in the morning a suspect, armed with a handgun, went into the Circle K convenience store on Grove Street and demanded cash. Police say he fled when he got what he was after, while a subsequent search of the area turned up nothing.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • 6 feet tall
  • Slim build
  • wearing a black hoody sweatshirt, full face covering balaclava, grey tapered track pants with 2 stripes on left thigh, grey running shoes with orange on the heel and side and grey gloves with coated fingertips.
