Police say they responded around 9:30 Monday night to a report of a break-and-enter.

"Through the investigation, it was determined that a home invasion had occurred. Four suspects arrived in a silver Kia Forte that parked in a neighbour's driveway. The four suspects, one armed with a crowbar, entered the home by smashing two windows. Upon entering the home, two suspects were confronted by a resident, which resulted in the suspects fleeing from the home," according to a police news release.

There were no injuries, police added.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Shawn Strilec (shawn.strilec@southsimcoepolice.ca) or Detective Constable Keith Causton (keith.causton@southsimcoepolice.ca).
