Ontario Provincial Police are searching for at least three suspects after a person was shot in front of a home in Alliston.

Around 5 p.m. on Thursday, officers were alerted about a shooting on Kidd Crescent.

The 21-year-old male victim was transported to hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Police told Barrie 360 he was not an occupant of the residence.

"The three male suspects were wearing dark clothing and masks," OPP said in a news release on Friday. "The suspects were seen leaving the area in a white Toyota Camry."

Investigators believe this is an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to public safety.

The investigation is ongoing by the Nottawasaga OPP Major Crime Unit, with assistance from the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS). Anyone with information, surveillance/dashcam footage, or reports of suspicious activity during the time of this incident is asked to contact Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
