Suspicious driver approaching females in Alliston, Thornton
In both incidents, the person was in a grey or silver vehicle
Nottawasaga OPP is concerned about similar reports of a male driver asking females to get into his vehicle.
The first incident happened on June 23 around 1:30 p.m. when a grey or silver sedan approached a female in the Tupper Blvd area in Alliston. The male initially asked the female for directions and then asked her to get into the vehicle. She declined and walked away.
The second incident was around noon on Wednesday when a person driving a grey 4-door vehicle with tinted windows approached two girls and offered them candy while they were walking in the area of Robert and Barrie Streets in Thornton. He asked the girls to get into the backseat of his vehicle. They rejected his offer and walked away.
OPP said the man is approximately 36 years old, of Middle Eastern descent, with dark hair, a moustache and a beard.
