Do you like maple syrup?
Of course, you do.
So do the Event Management students at Georgian College, Barrie, who are hosting a Sweet Maple Festival this Saturday (April 13).
It'll be a family-friendly celebration of everything maple, in support of the Barrie Food Bank and the Georgian Food Locker, aiding students in need.
You can enjoy a pancake breakfast served by special guest servers, explore a vendor market, and let the little ones enjoy themselves in the Kids Zone. There will be self-guided tours of Georgian's majestic maple trees, and kids' scavenger hunt.
And the Wiidookdaading Indigenous Resource Centre will offer insights into traditional maple syrup practices and crafting demonstrations.
