When covering a song as iconic as Black Sabbath's "War Pigs," you better ensure you do it right.
Well, T-Pain understood the assignment.
A video of the R&B singer's performance of the 1970 classic resurfaced online, getting the attention of Black Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne.
Ozzy Tweeted, "This is the best cover of 'War Pigs'. Why didn't you guys call me?"
T-Pain was humbled by Ozzy's praise, tweeting back, "First thing I said was 'wow' . This is an honor and the greatest form of validation. Thank you brother @OzzyOsbourne."

His performance surprised people because he is well known for his excessive use of auto-tune. There's even been rumours he can't sing. There was no need for auto-tune on this one.
The performance was done in March 2022 at West Hollywood's The Sun Rose.
He covered dozens of songs, including Journey and Frank Sinatra.
He recently began re-posting clips from the show on X.
