Take Five At The Barrie Jazz and Blues Festival

These cats have chops!

The Barrie Jazz and Blue Festival is back! This festival has grown since 1996 to become of the most anticipated musical events in Central Ontario. Whatever music tickles your fancy, they’ve got you covered with Urban-Indie and Variety artists along with Jazz, Blues, and Rhythm-Blues music!

There are a huge number of venues hosting an even greater number of bands and artists. From Barrie’s City Hall hosting The Skyliners Big Band to Redline hosting The Hard Livers and everything in between. There are also a series of outdoor shows with the “Center Stage in Heritage Park Concert Series” with artists like The Livingston-Clegg Jazz Sextet, Tia Brazda, the Brown Man Electryc Quartet and many more! Enjoy the sunshine with food and music!

Free concerts, lots of free parking, on-site BBQ, and not to mention lots of shopping and dining, The Barrie Jazz and Blues Festival is something you won’t forget, and since it’s on for 11 days, there’s plenty of time to check it out! The festivities begin Thursday, June 6th.
