Police used a taser on a man they said wouldn’t stay away from a Bradford home.
A 31-year-old Bradford man is facing a number of charges after South Simcoe Police officers were called out with reports of a domestic incident. Officers arrested a man for uttering threats and assault with a weapon at a Bradford home. He was held for a bail hearing and then released.
The next day, police were called to the same home where they say the same man was violating a condition of his release.
Police say one officer suffered a minor injury during the suspect’s arrest, while a conducted energy weapon was required to take the man into custody.
Charges including failing to comply with a judicial release, resisting arrest, assaulting an officer, and theft were laid.
