Teen charged after online threat against Midland school

A 17-year-old from Tiny Township has been charged after an online threat was reported against a Midland secondary school on Thursday.

Ontario Provincial Police say the teen is charged with uttering threats for a dangerous purpose and possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose.

Police say the incident is considered isolated, and there are no ongoing concerns for students or public safety.
