Teen driver charged with stunt driving

A 17-year-old has been charged with stunt driving.

Nottawasaga OPP say a vehicle travelling on Adjala-Tecumseth Townline was clocked at 114 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.

As a result, the vehicle the teen was driving has been impounded for 14 days, and his driver's licence has been suspended for 30 days.

"Nottawasaga OPP reminds all drivers that excessive speed puts everyone at risk. Drive safe. Arrive alive," police said in a social media post.
