No matter how many times they remake the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, nothing hits like the classic 1987 animated series.
Good news, though, cause it's coming back!
Nickelodeon has acquired global rights to the original series meaning 90's parents can force their kids to watch the show that made April Oneill's bright yellow jumpsuit seem cool.

According to Variety Magazine, the 193 episodes are set to debut digitally on Nickelodeon-owned and operated channels (such as YouTube, Pluto TV this month in the U.S. It will be available internationally on Nickelodeon-branded channels and digital platforms.
The announcement was made at San Diego Comic, where franchise co-creator Kevin Eastman said,
"It was the beginning. The first time those characters came to life with voices and movement, Chuck Lorre wrote an amazing theme song for us back in the day before he was Chuck Lorre. We're so excited to announce this, so congratulations to all of us. We get to see it again!"
The original show that introduced us to Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, Master Splinter and the evil shredder, ran from 1987 to 1996.
So get ready to grab a slice of pizza in honour of Michelangelo, and watch the foot clan get their butts handed to them.
