As part of the City of Barrie's Culture Days programming, Theatre by the Bay is looking for budding playwrights to test their skills in the 24-hour Play Contest.

On October 16th, writers will have just a single day to write a one-act script that must include three secret requirements. Those secret requirements will be published on Theatre by the Bay's website and social channels on the day of the contest.

Prizing for the contest includes $500 for the winner and $200 for the runner-up. The winner's script will also have a rehearsal reading live on Theatre by the Bays YouTube channel to help wrap up the Culture Days festival.

If you think you've got what it takes, head over to the website and check out all the details.
