With all the secrecy behind Spider-Man: No Way Home finally behind us, the 3 spideys were finally about to open up about the film.
To say that people were excited about the newest Spider-Man film is a bit of an understatement. Even through a pandemic, No Way Home managed to climb to the number 6 spot for highest-grossing film of all time and is second only to its big brother, Avenger: Endgame, when it comes to opening weekends.
However, in the lead-up to the film's final release, speculation about who exactly would be joining the film was shrouded in secrecy. When the first trailer dropped the massive surprise that Alfred Molina would be reprising his role as Doctor Octopus, the internet was set ablaze with theories about which other villains might also be returning.
Eventually, the conversation turned from villains to heroes.
To begin, everyone thought that seeing Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield return alongside Tom Holland was just too good to be true. A pipe dream that was too unlikely to ever come to pass. As more trailers dropped and excitement continued to build, the prospect of a film with the 3 spideys began to look more and more plausible.
Through it all though, all three actors managed to keep the secret alive, which for one actor in particular (cough, Tom Holland, Cough), is a real feat.
Now, the three actors have finally come together to talk about everything surrounding the film, from their initial calls from Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, to their time on set.

Both Toby and Garfield reflected on how they immediately understood that their appearances in the film would be much more than just a simple cameo. "It wasn't like they were just asking us to say hi and then leave again," said Garfield. "Our presence would be there to serve Tom, his journey, and where he is, as Peter Parker."
