The Barrie Public library plays host to a huge number of free events for kids, teens, adults, and seniors. With free events taking place almost every day, you're sure to find something to tickle your fancy. Did we mention they're free?
Under 5 Years
"Baby Goose", "Storytime", and "Play, Learn, Grow" are all events that emphasize learning and fun for your baby. Stories, songs, and interactive activities promote literacy all while keeping a big smile on their faces.
Teens
Teens can enjoy creative writing games and activities with the "Teen Writers Group", eat snacks and have their health and wellness questions answered at "Youth Hub", or pop into a virtual world with the "VR Drop-In".
Adults
Learn some basic computer design skills with the "Graphic Design Series", get help using new technology with "Tech Coach", or develop your writing muscle with "Writing Workshop". There are many more events ranging from music to language and countless others in between. Many events are all ages so the whole family can have fun together.
Seniors
With most adult events also suitable for Seniors, its easy to find an activity for you. Learn more about your garden with "Get Growing Outdoors", discover tips and strategies for researching your ancestry with "Introduction to Ancestry", or practice a language with one of the many "Conversation Circle" events.
Check out the Barrie Public Library Website for all the events taking place at both Barrie locations. It may be cliche, but the best things in life really are free.
