The Lazy Tulip
This adorable little spot is one-of-a-kind in downtown Barrie. The original aesthetic and friendly staff provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. To top it off, the food is delicious!
The menu offers breakfast and lunch classics with a great mix of unique options to keep every kind of eater happy. The Lazy Tulip prepares all meals in house and is proud to offer daily specials, vegan/gluten free options and fair trade/organic coffee.
Bohemia
Bohemia is another gem located downtown Barrie. Grab a spot on the main level, up top on the balcony or, on warmer days, on the patio out back.
Breakfast is served here Mon-Sat until 11 am and on Sundays until 2:30 pm. Do your best to get in early to get your hands on the fresh baked goods before they sell out! Bohemia also serves 3 versions of their very own fresh homemade bread, delicious on its own or as part of your meal.

The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse serves a special brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 2 pm and you'll want to add it to your weekend "to do" list.
The Farmhouse is a great place to stop in if you're looking for a little something more than your typical breakfast outting. The food is high quality and made from only the freshest of ingredients. Give the dill pickle brined fried chicken eggs benny a try, it's to die for!
Chavo Crepes
Chavo Crepes offers over 35 varieties of sweet and savoury crepes. You can get breakfast, lunch and dessert crepes all at the same time, which makes it a great brunch spot for an indecisive crew.
Some of our favourites include: Goat Cheese and Walnut Crepe, Hazelberryana Crepe, Turkey Bacon Avocado Crepe and Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe.

Dunlop St. Diner
Dunlop St. Diner is one of the newer restaurants to the brunch game in Barrie but also one of the best! The restaurants head chef, Amanda Rider was recently named Barrie's "Top Chef" at Top Cheflicious 2019.

Our favourite feature on the menu is 10 different kinds of eggs benedict, but the homefries and tater tots alone are enough to keep you wanting to come back.
Stacked Pancake House
Stacked is the place to be if you're interested in every kind of pancake, waffle or french toast you could image. It's definitely a hot spot for anyone who's got a sweet tooth in the mornings.
On top of wide assortment of sweet dishes, the menu is stacked (pun intended) with large selection of omelettes, skillets, sandwiches, benedicts and classic breakfast combos.
Debb's Place
Debb's Place is a family run restaurant best known for its tasty food and exceptional customer service. It's a great place to get out and let someone else doing the cooking while still enjoying a cozy and homelike environment.
Debb's Place serves breakfast and lunch 7 days a week from 7 am-2 pm.

This is a great restaurant to enjoy high quality brunch without breaking the bank. You can grab 2 large eggs, home fries and toast for just $4.99 plus tax!
Whatever you order, make sure to save room for the signature "TDF" (to die for) cinnamon rolls, baked fresh daily!
Midway Diner
Midway Diner is a funky spot by Barrie's waterfront to grab a bite in a 50's style diner. Sticking to the old school vibe, the restaurant takes cash payments only so be prepared.
Customers can expect large portions for great prices, as well as a fun and friendly environment. Midway Diner is located right in the heart of Barrie and has been keeping customers coming back for almost 60 years!
Spynn Restaurant
Spynn is located inside The Barrie Holiday Day Inn but open to everyone. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with a variety of mixed drinks and cocktails.
Spynn is a fantastic restaurant to keep in mind for special events and holidays because they often have specialty menus or brunch buffets for the occasion.
