The Cheque Is Not In The Mail, Muskoka

Muskoka Social Assistance Cheques Held Over Postal Disruption Fears

Back to work legislation has mail carriers and other CUP-W members back to work today, but that doesn’t mean the cheque is in the mail. In fact, Muskoka residents have to go pick it up.

The District Municipality of Muskoka says it did not mail out the latest social assistance cheques over fears of postal disruption, instead held the cheques for pick up. You can get yours at the Community Services Office in Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, or Huntsville.
