A teaser trailer for the live-action remake of "The Little Mermaid" has been released.
The visually stunning trailer shows Ariel, Played by Halle Bailey, swimming through her treasures with the familiar music of 'Part of your world" playing.
The trailer was released during Disney's D23 expo, where Bailey called the role a dream come true.
Deadline reports that Bailey spoke to fans about the film.
"Being a little girl, swimming in the pool, imagining I was a mermaid ― I never thought one day I could actually see that come to life," she said
"The three days filming 'Part of Your World' was the most beautiful experience of my life, feeling all the feelings she (Ariel) feels, her passion, discomfort, everything she's experiencing."
"The Little Mermaid" is expected out in May 2023.
