News release - The Sharing Place Food Centre
The Sharing Place Food Centre is hosting a friends and family public open house this Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
We invite our community to drop in and tour The Sharing Place facility, and learn about the core programs and services that we provide.
“We are excited to open our doors and show our community how our facility operates, the programs that we run and most importantly, why these programs are needed and the impact they have,” says Development Manager, Kelly Allen.
“While many people associate us with the food bank program, our operations are much broader. We hope that individuals and families will take this opportunity to come and visit, and learn first-hand about a local charity.”
The public open house will run from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 13th, at 95 Dufferin Street. On-site parking is limited, though additional parking is available around the corner at McKinnell Park on Dunedin Street.
