South Simcoe Police have charged three men following a serious aggravated assault that happened in Bradford last month.
Around 4 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, officers responded to a residence in the area of Barrie Street and Holland Street West for a report of an assault. Once they arrived, officers found two male victims, aged 35 and 42, who had been assaulted outside their home.
Both victims were transported to hospital.
One victim was listed in critical condition, and other was treated for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday, police arrested three suspects and laid charges.
A 31-year-old from Scarborough and a 25-year-old from Alliston were charged with:
- aggravated assault
- assault with a weapon
A 27-year-old from Scarborough was charged with:
- aggravated assault
- assault with a weapon
- fail to comply with an undertaking
The accused were held for bail hearings.
Police believe this was an isolated incident.
