For the better part of the 2000s, understated decor like beige and grey accessories were the standard, but like all fashion, tastes repeat themselves.
The New York Post says it's not just older millennials embracing the kitschy decor, but 20-something Zoomers are all for it too.
However, the overstimulation of so many lights is too much for some teenagers.
One woman posted her teenage daughter's reaction to her living room decor, and she didn't seem impressed, saying, "This is so extra."

She also seemed a bit scared of the insane amount of tinsel thrown on the tree in no particular way.
Although she tries to maintain her "unimpressed teen face," you can tell she low-key loves it.
While many are in awe of the 90's decor coming back, many quickly say they never stopped doing Christmas this way.
