Innisfil man charged in Highway 400 crash in Barrie

A 30-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a vehicle and tractor trailer collided on Highway 400 northbound just south of Essa Road in Barrie.

The collision happened around 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

For several hours only the middle lane was open for northbound traffic between Mapleview Drive and south of Essa.

OPP say the driver of the vehicle, who is from Innisfil, has been charged with impaired driving, possession of property obtained by crime and multiple drug offences.
