
A traffic stop shortly after 2:30 Monday morning by provincial police on County Road 6 in Tiny Township ended up in a slew of charges against the driver.
A vehicle was pulled over just outside Wyevale for a traffic violation and during the investigation police allegedly seized open liquor, suspected cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.


Police said a 42-year-old man was charged with obstructing police, operation while prohibited, and a drug possession offence.
He was also charged with the following provincial offences:
- Driving a motor vehicle while suspended x2
- Driving a motor vehicle - no licence
- Failing to provide a permit - motor vehicle
- Failing to provide an insurance card
- Improper mud guards
- Operating a motor vehicle with open liquor readily available to the driver
The vehicle has been impounded for 45 days, and the accused was given a court date in May.
Police said he was then turned over to OPP officers at another detachment who held a number of warrants for his arrest.
