Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) credit a tip from a motorist that led them to a suspected impaired driver in Angus.
"On March 2, 2025, shortly before 7:30 p.m., Nottawasaga OPP responded to a traffic complaint of a passenger vehicle swerving all over the road, veering into oncoming lanes," police said in a news release.
An officer was able to locate the vehicle, police added, and safely initiated a traffic stop on Commerce Road.
The driver was asked to provide a breath sample which resulted in a "fail."
A 48-year-old New Tecumseth man was charged with two impaired driving-related offences.
In addition to the charges, the driver was issued a 90-day licence suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
