Pinocchio is turning into a real movie this fall.
Disney released the teaser trailer for the live-action remake about the toy who wants to be a real boy.
The clip shows us kindly toymaker Geppetto working away on a toy, and as he goes to sleep that night, he makes a wish upon a star.
Soon a fairy appears to grant Geppetto his wish, sort of.
The retelling of the 1940 cartoon brought in some big celebs for this one.
Tom Hanks plays Geppetto, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will voice Jiminy Cricket, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is Pinocchio, Cynthia Erivo is the Blue Fairy, and Keegan-Michael Key Is “Honest” John.
A new character, Sofia the Seagull, is voiced Lorraine Bracco.
Pinocchio premiers on Disney + on September 8.
