The trailer for the musical adaptation of "Mean Girls" has dropped, and it looks so "Fetch."
The movie is based on the hit Broadway musical, adapted from the original 2004 film that starred Lindsey Lohan.
Taking over as the plastics, Angourie Rice, Renée Rapp, Avantika and Bebe Wood play the roles of Cady Heron, Regina George, Karen and Gretchen Wieners.
Rapp played Regina George on the musical Broadway version.
It's important to point out that this is a musical adaptation, as people have pointed out there's little singing in the trailer, which left some confused.
Although the cast is new, a few favourites from the original are back, including creator Tina Fey as Ms. Norbury and Tim Meadows as Principal Duvall.
Busy Phillips takes over as "The Cool Mom," Jon Hamm plays Coach Carr, and The Office's Jenna Fisher plays Cady's mom.
The trailer is filled with nostalgic scenes, but Fey says there are many fresh jokes and surprising moments, so even old fans will be in for a treat.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Fey explained, "I think these actors are incredibly perfect in their roles in a very modern take on these parts. Bringing together casts of actors is one of my favourite parts of the process, whether in film, television, or stage. I love getting a chance to be a part of it, and I'm so thrilled about this cast that has come together."
It hits theatres on January 12.
