Trespassing investigation turns into something more for OPP in Orillia

OPP

This started out as a trespassing investigation for provincial police in Orillia on Thursday as they spotted two people on private property.

The officers were joined by the OPP Canine Unit and Orillia OPP Community Mobilization Unit (CMU).

After speaking to the individuals, police say they arrested the pair and seized a weapon and Canadian currency.

"Then joined by members of the CMU, a package was recovered containing a quantity of cocaine," police said in a news release on Friday.

The suspects, a 20-year-old from North York , and an 18-year-old from Toronto face charges.
