A weekend drone attack on a large oil processing plant in Saudi Arabia could have an impact at the pumps Wednesday morning.
The plant pumps out five percent of the world’s crude oil.
The attack is pushing the price of that crude higher which could mean an increase of several cents a litre at the pumps.
Gas Price Watcher Dan McTeague says the increase could be offset in whole or in part by this week’s switch to winter-grade gasoline, which is cheaper to produce. The change normally results in about a four-cent decline in the price at the pump.
Want to play it safe? Top up the tank after dinner tonight.
