Police say the infant died two days later, allegedly from injuries sustained on November 8.

On Wednesday of this week, South Simcoe Police executed a search warrant at a Barrie residence.

A 31-year-old was charged with manslaughter, and a 26-year-old Barrie woman was charged with failing to provide the necessities of life.

Both were held for bail hearings.
