Ontario Provincial Police say two people suffered life-threatening injuries in an overnight crash on Highway 400 north of Port Severn.

Police say emergency crews responded around 10:50 Wednesday night to a report of a single-vehicle collision in the southbound lanes, near Hidden Glen Road, in Georgian Bay Township.

The two occupants were airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

The southbound lanes were closed south of Muskoka Road 38 for over four hours, but the road has since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.
