Australia and Singapore have suspended operation of Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft pending the investigation into the Ethiopian Airlines crash.

Canada’s Transport Minister, Marc Garneau, cautionned against jumping to conclusions about the cause of the crash. He said he is working with American transportation authorities to uncover the problem before taking action.

He also said he would board one of the jets “without hesitation”

Both Air Canada and Westjet have expressed confidence in the safety of the Max 8.
