South Simcoe Police have laid over 55 charges following a series of thefts from vehicles and garages in Bradford.

Last Wednesday, police say they received four separate reports of thefts from vehicles and garages at homes in the Holland Street East and Marshview Boulevard area. A fifth theft from a garage days earlier was then linked to these occurrences.

Two Bradford residents, a man aged 36 and a 42-year-old woman, face a slew of charges including theft under $5,000, possession of stolen goods, and other offences.

The accused were held for bail hearings.

Police recovered some of the stolen items, including a bicycle, credit cards, wallets, and work credentials.
