A dinner time dust-up in downtown Orillia has resulted in charges against two people.
OPP say just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to West Street and Mississaga Street for reports of three individuals involved in an altercation where a weapon was seen.
"After a thorough investigation revealed multiple knives were brandished and used in the assault, two individuals were charged. A third individual is currently wanted by the Orillia OPP but there are no public safety concerns as this is believed to be an isolated incident," police said in a news release on Wednesday.
A 52-year-old from Orillia has been charged with assault with a weapon, while another Orillia resident, age 37, has been charged with assault.
Both suspects have court dates in November.
