Two people charged following stabbing in Orillia

OPP upgrade charges after driver dies of injuries in Highway 12 crash near Gambridge

Charges have now been laid against two suspects in connection with a stabbing in Orillia that OPP say happened in the wee hours of Nov. 17.

First responders were called to a residence on Barrie Road about a report of a stabbing and found an injured person inside the home. They were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Earlier this week, police arrested two suspects.

A 37-year-old Ramara man has been charged with:

·      Assault

·      Assault with a weapon

·      Assault causing bodily harm

·      Robbery and wounding

·      Fail to comply with probation order

A 29-year-old Orillia woman has been charged with:

·      Assault

·      Assault with a weapon

·      Assault causing bodily harm

·      Robbery and wounding

·      Failure to comply with release order x2
