South Simcoe Police responded to a two-vehicle crash around 1:30 a.m. Sunday that landed five people in hospital.
Police say the collision happened at the intersection of the 25th Sideroad and 10th Line in Innisfil.
According to investigators, a vehicle with four occupants driving northbound on 25th Sideroad was struck by an eastbound vehicle with one occupant, that failed to stop for a stop sign.
Four patients were transported to a local hospital and a fifth patient was later transferred to a Toronto trauma centre.
All the injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening.
A 64-year-old Innisfil man was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm.
