An "unexpected guest" was found in the driveway of a Barrie home Tuesday evening, officials with the Barrie Police Service said.
According to police, a man was sleeping near the garage when the Park Street homeowner arrived home at 6:30.
"The homeowner immediately contacted the Barrie Police Service and upon arrival, the male was located lying in some bushes next to the driveway," said Peter Leon, communication coordinator with the Barrie police.
"After confirming the identity of the male, it was determined that he was wanted on a warrant held by the Barrie Police Service for Failing to Comply with Probation."
