Ontario’s vaccine certificate now available to download

Three-day roll out begins Friday

The vaccine certificate QR code can now be downloaded.

The province says the three-day rollout begins Friday and is available on the Ontario Health website.

Starting today, the code can be accessed by people born in the first four months of the year. On Saturday, those born from May to August will be able to access the app and then, those born in the last four months can access it on Sunday.

As of Monday, at 8 a.m. it will be available for everyone to download. All you will need to access your vaccine certificate in the app is your green photo health card.

Premier Doug Ford is going to brief the media on Friday about Ontario’s vaccine certificate QR code and app.

By the way, the code will not be available for use until Oct. 22.

Restaurant, bar and gym owners will be all ears. They want to hear from the premier that their locations will no longer have capacity limits, which were lifted for concert halls, movie theatres, and sports venues last week.
