Provincial police have charged a Clearview Township woman with impaired offences after receiving information about a car in the ditch.
Huronia West OPP responded to Mighton Court on Thursday night around 11:30 p.m.
"Officers attended the location to find the vehicle abandoned," OPP officials said in a release this morning.
"Officers were able to contact the driver who advised that she had driven into the ditch earlier on in the day and was planning to retrieve it."

Police say they later returned to the vehicle and found the driver attempting to remove it. According to OPP, they initiated an impaired investigation after speaking with her.
A 62-year-old was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while Impaired - Alcohol and Drugs
- Operation while Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
"Drivers and members of the public are reminded to respect our communities, comply with all laws, and not jeopardize the safety of our citizens or our neighbourhoods with risky, illegal, and dangerous actions," OPP added.
