GO train service was halted at Bradford on Wednesday evening after the front-end of a vehicle came to a stop on railway tracks at the Allandale Waterfront Station in Barrie.
It's the last northbound stop on the Barrie line.
Barrie police communications spokesperson Jennett Mays tells Barrie 360 they received calls around 6:30 p.m. about a vehicle on the tracks near the Allandale station.
"It appears that it may have been medical, and the driver was taken to a local hospital," Mays said in an email to Barrie 360.
Metrolinx said bus service was available to customers from Bradford who were travelling northbound to Barrie.
A southbound train to Union Station that was scheduled to leave from the Allandale Waterfront station around 9:05 p.m. began at Bradord instead, shortly after 9:30 p.m.
All other northbound trains on the Barrie Line will stop at Aurora GO until the 21:54 depature from Union Station.
