Vehicle vs tree in Tiny Township leaves teen driver with life-threatening injuries

A 19-year-old man was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries after the vehicle he was driving slammed into a tree in Tiny Township.

OPP say the collision happened on County Road 6 just south of Concession Road 6 around 12:30 a.m. Friday.

County Road 6 was closed through the night and for part of the morning for the police investigation.

The road has since reopened.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage and has not yet spoken with police is asked to call Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122 or e-mail at opp.southern.georgian.bay@opp.ca.
