Three teens have been charged in connection with what South Simcoe Police (SSP) say was a "violent assault" at the Morgan Russell Memorial Arena in Lefroy.
On July 27, 2025, police arrived on the scene and discovered an 18-year-old man had been lured to the location and attacked by a group of individuals.
"During the incident, one of the suspects discharged an air pistol multiple times. Fortunately, the victim was not struck by any projectiles. His phone, shoes, and eyeglasses were stolen before the suspects fled the scene," SSP said in a news release.
The teen managed to reach a nearby home to call for help.
